Cloves placed next to the cavity or spread oil of cloves. He may not have cover now, but he may need medical attention if he doesn't do something soon. If the tooth and surrounding gum become infected, he will know all about it. See if you can get some help financially for him honey. He needs to get this treated right away.

Anbesol is a good topical anesthetic that's available over the counter. Oil of clove may also help. If she's not aspirin-sensitive, 800 mg of ibuprofen may also help (it will at least reduce the inflammation somewhat). Warm salt-water rinse can help with pain and inflammation, and can help prevent infection. In some places (most notably Canada and the U.K), Tylenol 3, 2, or 1 is available over the counter (don't know where you're located). Peragoric may also be available (DON'T mix them), and can be rubbed on the gums (even for babies). The mouthwash is a good idea if she is infection-prone; vodka won't really do much unless you swallow it, and that might not be such a good idea if she's under a doctor's care, as it can interact with other medications. Perhaps since she *is* under a doctor's care, he can prescribe something like Percocet or Vicodin in small quantities to help. Ultimately, the only thing that will really help is for the teeth to be removed, usually the sooner, the better. Wisdom teeth are often ill-formed and highly prone to decay. My best wishes to your friend for a quick recovery on all counts.

well being a dentist i must advise u to consult a dentist
home remedies can be of short term help to u
u need to trace out the cause and not just subside the pain
what u immediately require is a radiograph of ur tooth and a dentist to read it
he will then tell u the exact situation
whether u need a impaction(third molar removal) or just medication
but if all this is not possible
THEN
OIL OF CLOVE IS THE BEST HOME REMEDY
WARM SALINE RINSES AFTER EVERY MEAL
TRY TO KEEP THE SOCKET CLEAN
IJUST KEEP A CLOVE NEAR THE SOCKET
but my dear this is just temporary remedy he will have to see a dentist sooner or latter

Go to a dentist and have them removed ... most medical centers will accept payments ... wisdom teeth growing in wrong, which is why a person usually gets pain, can not only destroy the persons looks, but destroy the teeth that they are coming in behind, which leads to more infections. Just have him go to a dentist, their not going to turn him away because of no coverage, not if he explains his posistion and is willing to set himself up on a payment plan.
