My girl and I both had numerous previous encounters before we got together. We discussed this issue and both got tested for STD's to relax eachother prior to taking it to the next level. Now we use that experience to please one another, and often talk about previous experiences while having sex to spice things up! I happen to enjoy that immensely!

I'm married and I think having more than you spouse for a sexual partner is waaaay too many! You should save that special, sacred experience for you spouse to share it with them. It will keep you cleaner, safer, happier and more fulfilled in life if you do so.
But, I did have sex with one other before my husband and I got married which was the dumbest thing I could've ever done, but at the same time my hubby is glad I did because he'd had sex with multiple girls before and didn't want to marry a virgin cuz he felt he didn't deserve one, nor did he want a girl that didn't know anything about anything at all when he had so much experience.
I think he had way too many and he had about 7 or 8 by the time he was about 17 or 16. Pretty gross!!! Luckily he didn't get anyone pregnant or contract any STD's!!!

It should not matter what is in the past. If you want a commit ed type of thing, then he is saying that he won't be dating anyone else. If he has broken many hearts, then I would say, you would not be any different. If you are about 21 yrs old, you could have bedded two a week, since you were 18, if he was good looking and very lucky. You do the math.

Whoa...looks like you hit a sensitive spot for some people. That seems like a personal question. Even though you should be honest with your b/f or g/f. Why bring up the past to someone when it's over. One partner said to me that it's like sleeping with the same people in a way. I understand about Aids and STDs, but what's wrong with casual sex?

Every time you have sex you have just had sex with all the prvious partners.Sex creats a bond. Not to mention the question of who started an STD in the long chain of partners.Be choosy about who you sleep with or just say no. If you do decide to have sex out of marriage then use safe sex and condoms. Former maternity nurse.

The ideal answer would be no it doesn't matter but the number of sexual partners can indicate the person's attitude towards sex... For example if my girlfriend had many sex partners (let's say more than 10) she could be a slut, and I'd think less of her for that.

Yes it does you have a right to know where your partner has been in the past. You have the right to ask your partner to get test for HIV and STD's before you ever lay down with them with or without protection. If they have a problem with that they can keep moving.

As long as they are clean and loyal, it doesn't really matter then does it? I know a girl that is 19 currently, but has had sex with about 50 people (+/-) I personally have only had 2... I'm 20

Well going by my scale, I'd rather not now how many they have had, as long as they are still clean, that's fine! Cause the more they have had the less a chance that they have missed out on something and need to go experimenting later on in life without you!
