Your friend is deluded and hearing voices. I suggest she goes and consults a psychiatrist. Nice excuse for not wanting to work.

It's hard to say. Jesus said we have to give up everything
if we want to follow him. Maybe God has a spiritual path for
her.
However, one of the first things we need to learn on a spiritual
path is to discriminate. That sounds like a dirty word. But it
just means to be choosey.
We all go from a point where we don't believe anything. To
where we believe everything.
Just because someone hears a voice doesn't mean it is a good
spirit. We need to pray and make sure our spiritual experiences
and TRUE.

I would ask your friend to first confirm it by looking at Gods Word "The Bible" also to chat with the Pastor of her church. Sometimes God may want us to give up something so that we can focus on what really matters and have faith in him.
If we as Christians really believe in an all powerful God who created all things, which I personally do but have my ups and downs like any other person. What makes us think he cannot provide for all our needs.

Lets take the word god and bible out of the equation.
What are you left with. A person who hears a voice telling them to stop working and go and read a book. Yeah right.
If they are serious tell them to see a doctor.

God would never ask you to quit work and go to a bible discussion. Work is God, so your friend must be trying to find an excuse to escape work.

I think it was more her ego, and obviously she does not like her job and needed an excuse to leave, so she did a little dance around the truth. God gets blamed for everything, I would hate to have his job.

She didn't hear that from God - tell her to read the Bible and go to Church instead and get back working. She is taking the Lords name in vain.

It is always a disturbing sign when people think one of the various Gods on offer is talking to them personally.

I think your freind just wanted to quit her Job. if God wanted her to attend that class, then that class would be made available when she was available. Then again your Freind probly dont need to work..probly spoiled and has momy and daddy hookin up the bamk roll.

god is probably preparing your friend for greater blessing, but she needs to learn a bit first. I hope she was sure that the voice was His before she jumped in though!
