There can never be real love without honesty. So the answer is no, it would be impossible to sacrifice honesty for any thing.

Well, this is different from all the other posts. But I would.

In this question, I am regarding my significant other. I would not cheat on (commit adultery) my SO. But I have not revealed, and he has not asked about my past, but if he did, I would not hesitate to keep it to myself, I also would not always tell him where I went that morning, how I spent my money, what I really think of his dressing style.

For the record, I do not care about his past either. I know there is one, but so does everyone else.

I think, the difference between me and the others is I keep my love and passion seperate from my individuality. I have had a much longer time being myself, as a single, individual person, than I have had being a 'couple'. I dont care to entangle the two.

And I think you can keep the two seperate, with whatever efforts it may take.

Never because honesty is more important than love.

Oh, no. I would never ever say anything that wasn't completely honest to someone I loved.

Watch me say that with a straight face. Wait, I can do it...gimme another try.

C'mon - any man who tells you that he is completely honest with his love either doesn't have a lover, has a really loose definition of "completely honest", or is simply lying. There's not a woman alive who'd be interested in someone who was completely honest.

If there is no honesty, there is no real love. Lust, maybe, or selfish vanity, or being willing to accept a sham of love, but if there is deception there is no foundation for love.
