after Adam and eve, for a while all people must have believed in the one true god. How long did it take for the devil to get to work in setting up other religions? what was the first false religion set up by Satan?

After man fell from grace, I suspect the first religion the devil created was christianity.
All religions point to the same truth. Why waste time arguing over different flavours? Essentially you do not need a road sign to get home. The truth comes before all religion.

You are assuming that Adam and Eve existed then - so presumably you don't hold much store by the idea of Evolution. I think that the Devil would have used doubt to persuade people to no longer look to God. Also, they were wrong in their ways of worship and there is mention of the worship of a Golden Calf Idol in the time of Moses - which was if you like another religion - certainly God did not approve

Abraxism. That religion says that there is bad and good in a balance to maintain order. Either pole alone should create chaos. It was started by Kane after being disown by God for killing his brother. Thus this is the 13th tribe of Israel and the beginning of the bad fate for that number in the Bible.

Devil establishes the selfish mentatlity among the religionist that their Religion is the only thing "God could Provide"
Infact the mentality of Adam and Eve to do some thing against the order of GOd was the establishment of False Religion.

Oh please, Most religions have the Adam and Eve version of creation. So yu can't claim that I'm afraid. And you really need to go out more if you think that other religions were borne by the devil. Who do you think you are, do you find yourself to be superior to others? Get a life and get some!

since Hindu religion is the oldest on the planet 6000 yrs and Buddhism 3000 yrs, satan have been known to have been prowling in garden of Edan. So Satans effects were only on Christains, Judaism and Islam. You can judge for yourself and see what these three religions have and are doing to this world.

Satan was kicked out of Heaven with his army of followers to Earth, and was here when adam and eve was created.."eat this fruit...hmm yummy" He has been here since day 1 and has coverd all 4 courners of the earth to decieve man kind in to sinning or turning to any thing but GOD for answers. god done it, see once we all spoke the same language, and we thought we were great, so we all had a meeting and decided to built a tower to show off how great we were and to show that we were better than god etc etc, that pissed the big fella off a small bit so he made us speak different languages and religions so as we won't be able to work together again, thus keeping the big lad happy! its somewhere in the old testament. oh come on now, all that god stuff is only about 5000 yrs old, try all the religions of the old indus valley, and the ancient romans. and the celts, and the vikings, who didnt have anything to do with the christian stuff for ages. its all a big fairy tale anyway to rule people and their money.
