no buddy installing MS office in one OS will not be able to be used in another OS too however i could tell u a better and easy way to reduce the space that it will take in both the partition

what u do is first install it in one OS
then in another OS u install it but at the path u installed it in the former OS i mean for example ur MS WIN 2000 is in C: and your WIN XP is in D:

and u want to install MS OFFICE 2000 or MS OFFICE XP in both of them

so go to one OS say WIN 2000 and install the MS OFFICE
it will probably b installed in Program Files
but u can change the location
then go to WIN XP and install MS office on the same location u installed in WIN 2000 as it will save u a lot of space

and i prefer installing all my programs and applications at 3rd location

the only drawback in this case is if u uninstall the application from one OS then u will not be able to use it in the other OS too so first thing whatever u doin and then take any step

as i have installed WIN 2000 in D: and WIN XP in E: and all my applications in C: and that also common

Gud Luk and have fun........

NO Its not possible because the drives of your both Os's are different
if you load office 2000 in one system
then some files will load in that OS folder
so its not possible to run

no pal setting up MS place of work in a unmarried OS isn't in a position for use in yet another OS too besides the undeniable fact that i might want to tell u a more desirable proper and uncomplicated thanks to minimize the gap that it will soak up both the partition what u do is first set up it in a unmarried OS then in yet another OS u set up it yet on the course u put in it contained in the former OS i propose to illustrate ur MS WIN 2000 is in C: and your WIN XP is in D: and u favor to position in MS place of work 2000 or MS place of work XP in both one of them so bypass to at least one OS say WIN 2000 and set up the MS place of work it would want to honestly b put in in application records yet u can change the area then bypass to WIN XP and set up MS place of work on an analogous area u put in in WIN 2000 because it truly is going to keep u various area and that i want setting up all my classes and applications at third area the surely downside accordingly is that if u uninstall the employing from one OS then u isn't in a position to apply it in the different OS too so first ingredient although u doin and then take any step as I have put in WIN 2000 in D: and WIN XP in E: and all my applications in C: and that still difficulty-loose Gud Luk and performance relaxing........
