Yes. Most of the vegetables if consumed raw from the market are potentially dangerous. They are often trated with insecticides. Some vegetables are exposed to high doses of insecticides. Beware of green leafy vegetables, califlower, tomato and lady's fingers. It is always safe to first thoroughly wash with fresh water. Then soak the vegetables in saturated salt solution ,say for 10-15 minutes. Most of the insecticides ooze out in to the salt solution. In case of lady's finger prefer to buy distorted ones- which means some insects are present- you can discard while cutting them- but then you are sure that no insecticide has been used. YOU SHOULD PREFER VEGETABLES GROWN IN YOUR KITCHEN GARDEN.

It is not injurious to health. It will not give you all the vitamins and minerals those required by the human body.

Human, by nature, are genitically engineered, to be vegitarian at the same time non-vegetarian.

If you analyse the teeth sets of human with aninals which hunt and eat flesh...you can find the truth.

It is good to be vegetarians...but at the same time you, by nature, should eat non-veg also.

Egg & Milk are also non-veg.
