This answer will be in direct reference to beer guzzlers. The 'beer belly' is acquired not by the consumption of beer but by the junk food that people habitually eat while guzzling beer.

A beer is ok but 2 or more of them is too much. Trying to have nice abs requires you to work out and/or Diet. Both of these will be negitively altered due to excessive drinking. You performace will definately be hindered, and digestion after too much alcohol get all messes up with alcohol. Get the abs first, then drink.

In moderation, no. Depends what you drink, stick to vodka with diet mixes, or light beer, Stay away from margaritas and drinks like that, very high in calories,

Alcohol does not contain fat, but it contains calories and if you consume calories that you body doesnt use, then it turns to fat.

So yes, alcohol can cause weight gain if you arent burning off the extra calories.

yes. most definitely. of course, depends on how much u drink, main reason being is that alcohol is empty calories. no nutrional value and can dehydrate you leaving it easier for u to cramp.plus bad for the liver in excess.

Alcohol is just about the worst thing for you if you're trying to drop bodyfat to see your abs.

But if you must drink, vodka & diet tonic is your best bet.
