A sister in church told me she might be pregnant she is in her thirties. I told her that there is nothing too big for God.
But she is more concern about how it would look because she is not married and not in a commited relationship.
What else should I tell her? Please keep it real.

My sister (familywise) is a single mum in our church who had left her boyfriend before she found out she was pregnant.
We all make mistakes sometimes and its wrong to punish someone over and over for what they have done. The church should gather about her and support her because going through a pregnancy by yourself is bad enough without people getting nasty about it.
Give her a big hug for me and tell her to stay strong!

Romans 8:1 There is therefore now no condemnation. The Lord is a forgiving God. He his not here to condemn and that embarrasment and shame are the work of the enemy. All children are pre-destined to be here. Look at the baby as a blessing. I'm assuming that she's single. Even if she's not pregnant, she's doing/done something that may have gotten her pregnant, repent and ask for forgiveness and ask the Lord to work with her in that area. You pray for her as well. She should also get more involved in the Church (accountability).

Tell her you love her and will be standing beside her regardless of what anybody else says or thinks.
Then do it. Be there to remind people that Christians don't talk behind each other's backs, and that your friend and her new baby need all the love and support they can get. It is hard enough to be a parent even with a full time Dad and Mom. Single parenting is hard.
Be an example to others of His love.

The best that you can do for her is to show her the Love of Christ and support her through this situation. When someone wants to talk about her, you will support her and "have her back" by telling them that THEIR job is to love her and not judge her. Think of the woman caught in adultery and Jesus' response to her!!
She has some very difficult days ahead of her and will need your love and support like never before!!

You can pray for her. She shouldn't be concerned about what people think, because if everyone else shuns her, God will still love her and be with her. Dyin_Lady, it's for sisters in Christ *only*. If you don't like what you're hearing, then why are you here and why did you comment?

tell her to ask GOD for forgiveness and to help her with the feeling of guilt. then be a friend. if the church members are real they won't judge.and they will give the support she needs. after all saints are just sinners saved by grace

God forgives everything for those who repent. Tell her that God and you love her no matter what and that you will be there her for her and the child if she needs you.

Jesus is the same yesterday, today and forever...he's a forgiver and a provider, just trust in him, he will see her through. Don't worry about the back-biters and fault-finders.
