I had 2 c-sections. The first one healed great and I was fine. The second one I had my scar got infected and it was really itchy. That is all fine now but it is still itchy sometimes and once in a while I will get a sharp pain where the cut is and all of my lower abdomen is numb and I also find that if I am playing with one of my kids on my bed and they like bounce on me or whatever, I get this really weird feeling in my lower abdomen by where my uterus is so now nobody is allowed to bounce on mommy!! Definitly get it checked out though they said everything was normal for me but everybody is different!!! Good Luck and God Bless!

I have had two cesarean's. It will feel funny for quite some time. My C didn't close w/ the staples the second time. It took 3 weeks of a in-home nurse to get it sealed up tight. It will always feel somewhat different because there is a lot of scar tissue there. Mine felt numb and tingly at the same time for at least 1 year and a half after. As for the pain you are still feeling I would ask your doctor about that. Maybe there it has nothing to do w/ the C. surgery. Have him /her do a ultra sound to see if there is something else in that area wrong.

6 weeks flat. You have scar tissue underneath that outside visible scar that is bothering you. Like all other scars on the body, the only way to break it down is to manually do so. Use some sort of oil on it and massage the heck out of it. Roll the skin in both directions for 5-10 min about 3 times a day. There is nothing that you can do to hurt this incision- it has healed. You need to be really firm in the rolling. The scar should break down in several weeks. Cold can activate pain fibers that may be entrapped in the scar. Again, the only way to get rid of it is to break down the scar.

LSCS scar has the first phase of healing that completes in 6-9 days . Then is the secondary healing when the tissues gain their strength that takes about 2 yrs. Few aches and pains may be experienced. One is perfectly normal after about 2 yrs only some numbness may still be present for life.

With the C-Section, it's at least 2 months! She should start to feel better though within a few weeks. The wound will heal within a couple of weeks, just don't let her take off the steri-strips.

I have had two c-sections, both were emergencies. My first was nearly four years ago and I felt fine within a week, my second was just over a year ago and my stomach is still really hard and bloated above the scar making it impossible to get a relatively flat tummy. I am going to see my doctor about this as it is concerning me and I think if it is bothering you then you should see someone too.

If it's closed up and not leaking, it's probably completely healed. You might experience pain when it's cold from now one; kind of like when someone who has knee surgery complains about the pain when it's rainy or cold.

If I were you I'd get it checked out. My daughter isn't even a year yet and my doesn't bother me at all. I guess I shouldn't say that sometimes it itches a little bit.

The so as to help in the healing process, don't eat beef, pork, and chicken. also, no to ice cream, chocolates, pastries and cakes, eggs, caviar, watermelon, cantaloupe, mangoes and grapes. Simply eat fruits rich in Vitamin C and vegetables.
