i am studying in medical college,i want mobile but my parents not allow to take mobile in college,i tried to explain importance of mobile,they didnt understand,what to do?

Although they are afraid that will be the cause of your early death, tell your parents that you will need that for emergency. If they will not listen, then it's about time to save money so that you can buy your own. Simply keep your mobile in your school locker and once you go home remove the Sim card and you can replace the new Sim card by using the mobile phone that's not allow for you to bring in your school.

I take it you are foriegn. and are still learning American.
The missing word that would make sense is the word PHONE.
It has some social importance and of some help in getting calls inbetween classes and after if your parents need to contact you.
you may have to pay for your own moble phone if your parents don't get you one.

Just take mobile and dont ask ur parents, it is really useful thing, I feel myself unsafe without this ability to call someone.
