i think they can whimper and stuff, but softly. Someone said up the top that dogs dream like we do, hence movemnts such as runnig movement when they sleep. Yet then why don't humans don't play out their actions when they dream? I've observed other sleep, and they do have dreams but they don't action it out. So maybe if your dog does motions while it sleeps, maybe it's more of a dog thing, than human dreaming.

It can be known as dreaming , have you ever ever accidentally smacked your accomplice even as slumbering ? I've and he or she will get pis*** off All four of my dogs twitch and snore give a little bit ____ woof here and there I used to be observing T.V simply the opposite night time and one among my Boxers began barking his head off woke up the opposite puppies scared the shyt out of me after which he slowly sat up like nothing happened . I couldn't stop laughing . So do not fear he's simply dreaming .

It's not unusual for dogs to show physical reactions to the dreams they are having. Just think about what they must dream about. Someone wrote dogs are like humans. NO THEY'RE NOT

Dogs are like humans. They also have dreams while they are asleep. My dog farts and burps. I thought it was kind of strange at first, but now I noticed they are not far from us in many aspects.

Dog's dream just like we do...sometimes they run in their sleep (legs moving, panting hard) sometimes they growl and yes, sometimes, they bark.
He/She was probably dreaming about kicking some other dogs butt, or protecting you.

HA! Yeah I have. What about other noises! Tripped out isn't it. I believe there is a reason for it all. A warning it was.
