like ordinary cassette tape.your micro mini recorder is consist of a tape head.this is the part of the system responsible for both playback and recording.clean the tape head with tape head cleaner to make sure it is free from residues that causes it to produce both clear playbacks and recordings. but if ever the tape head due to long period of use appears to have scratches or worn-outs.it needs to be replaced.(",)
