whn i turn on my computer, the computer is asking me 2 "get genuine windows, the current running windows is not an secure for me", aftr this intimating me it displays me my desktop and runs windows asusual, so will there be any problem 4 me. is it ok if i dont reinstall operating system?

Ok, you have a Counterfeit Copy of Windows XP, and you downloaded updates, including the GDI Patch or "Genuine Valadation Authentication" . You will get a 5 second time out and then have a little blue star in your system tray. Now for the answer. Buy a REAL copy of the software, format and reinstall and activate, problem gone.

Your question is not very clear. If I recall correctly some of the windows update programs require Microsoft update to verify you are running a genuine copy of windows and not a bootleg. I would just click OK and let it verify your copy. I doubt you will need to reinstall windows .. the worst that would happen is that it cannot verify you have a genuine copy and not let you download the update..

registry the license of your Windows in www.micrsoft.com and u going be sure u no have the windows illegal
