*Bible bearer - in Protestant ceremonies, a child (either male or female, usually male) brings a bible to the altar on top of a cushion, and there is a place where the officiating Minister, blesses this bible telling everyone of the couple's wish for their home to be ruled by God's word. This bible then becomes the couple's home bible and will be used in all religious ceremonies and devotions in their household.

have not heard of that. At my church, Baptist, we have a White Bible Service for the brides from our church. It is sweet and beautiful. Church married ladies read lines of poetry or scripture on the stage in a semi-circle in front of the bride-to-be. The groom-to-be sits on the front pew. The couple are encouraged to be a Godly family We usually have lots of white candles lit. It can be as plain or elaborate as you like. The bride is presented with a white Bible to carry on her wedding day.

I've never seen, or heard of this, before, and I had a Protestant ceremony. If your minister is familiar with it, then he knows the proper prayers. If he isn't familiar with it, he's unlikely to do it.
