It was the Romans who carried it out, but it was the Jewish religious leaders who were the instigators. They were so bound up in 15oo years of tradition that they failed to recognise Jesus as the true Messiah. Thety had the scriptures gathered over all that long period of time and knew to within a few years when the Messiah would be born. So much so that King Herod, himself a Jew, considered the Messiah a threat to his own throne and ordered all Jewish boys two years and under to be slaughtered. This happened. But an angel sent by God to Joseph and Mary told them to flee to Egypt and not come back until Herod died. This they obeyed. It is not known exactly when they returned but the story of Jesus being lost for three days from his parents, and spending the time in the temple discussing the scrolls with the elder men, at age 12, indicates he was back in Jerusalem by then. Nothing is known from then till the age of thirty, when Jesus began his ministry.

God forgive me if this answer is far off.I read my bible and believe in Jesus and God and I spend time with my Lord. When God sent his son to give His life so we as His people can have forgiveness and everlasting life.To my understanding Jesus was not really killed he was sacrificed for all mankind.God sent His son to give his life for ours. All this was ordained,This was the destiny of our Lord Jesus Christ, which Son of God accepted. For this was his will.I hope that all mankind will come to see the pain and suffering the Father and Son went through so that the world could have a chance at "being"

I got this passage from a webpage:

So who killed Jesus? We don't need to look too far... it is you, and I. Jesus died on the cross to atone for your sin and my sin. Romans 3:23-25 said it quite clearly: " for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus. God presented him as a sacrifice of atonement, through faith in his blood."

Ugh... you're not trying to get us to say that because the Jews killed Jesus that they should all burn in hell and be exterminated like Hitler wanted, are you?

Believe it or not, modern day Christians and modern day Jews really don't have that many problems with each other.

All of us....and original sin.

Jesus said, No one takes my life but I lay it down, and have the power to tak it back up again.

Jesus permitted the crucificxion according to the plan of God, the Father. Who's guilty for it? Each one of us.

We did! Jesus died for our sins, so ultimately we all killed him. He did it willingly though, and God allowed it.
