Is it a safe area? Do you know of any decent apartments? I'm moving there for a job next month and would appreciate any info.

you can live in Cerritos. or Artesia. Cerritos is a very nice place. I went to HS there. Lived right outside of it my whole life. norwalk is more on the ghetto side of things. Remember there are good and bad parts of every city. the surrounding citys are Bellflower, cerritos, and Artesia.

Norwalk is not too bad. If you are looking for an apartment, check out www.westsiderentals.com Do a GUEST SEARCH on area South/East LA, and you can get an idea on rentals, including pictures.
