I don't think this is normal but no one seems to take what l'm seeing seriously. Is this real or is it in my head?

Have seen Opthomologist, Neurologist and and CT and MRI of brain and all normal. Eyes are fine no damage there either. What else could cause this . Have slight headaches but no pain most times. Headache goes away symptoms remain. My Doctor won't listen and thinks its all depression, l know l have depression but l've been suffering from depression a lot longer than this. Have been seeing this in vision for about 3 years now. I'm starting to get same symptoms in other eye too. It starts of as bright sparks then progresses to blur with lightning flashes and at times combust in to bright sparks like some one flashed a camera in your vision. I don't know what to do next.....

I feel for you. I also have an unusual vision problem. Went to 3 different eye doctors and got 3 different answers. Seems they are just guessing.

Might be a migraine. Someone had mentioned this, but it gets even more weird sometimes... there are migraines with out the pain.

Go see a neurologist, they might be able to help you. If that's who you went to see... then I don't know. Sorry.

I take you seriously. A retinal tear can cause this but so can other conditions such as muscle strain. Have you seen an Ophthalmalogist?

I didn't see that it was checked, but high blood pressure could be causing the flashes. If it hasn't been checked, it should.
