This happened to me, eventhough I ended up going to the same place with the girl.
Prepare yourself as if you broke up. It is natural to care, dont get me wrong, but you know how much she cares for you by how much she chooses to communicate with you.
So if you believe in the 60 minute rules (60min of travel gets you to your girl then it works) then ok. I strongly suggest you tell yourself she is gone, at least only to yourself so if she comes back it will be a nice surprise.
