A one night stand is risky cause you never know what you will run into ... HIV? As to your best friend is only your solution but you must make it not so obvious. You must plan nicely by putting on sexy dress, wearing nice purfume. Venue is at your place by inviting him for dinner, say you are trying a new recepie and you would like his comment. After dinner then follow by light music with slim light and lots of wine and also put on the coolest aircon. Slowly let the time goes by no rush, I bet you your chances of success is above 80 %. Actually I wanted to say 100%. After the next day, you may act as if it has never happened and continue your best friendship.

Forget the one-night stands. I think sex is sacred and should be done only with the one you love. First comes love, then sex.
IIn the olden days, we waited until our wedding night. There are far too many diseases out there, and far too many pregnancies at a young age.
Enjoy life before sex. There is plenty of time for that. You don't need it tonight. Read a book. Take a cold shower.
What if the guy you pick up doesn't have protection or you get something from him at an early age, and are ruined for life. Do you think the man you pick later in age would appreciate you with herpes or VD or AIDS that you caught from a one-night-stander?

Definately a one niht stand b/c stuff like that can ruin a friendship and i wouldn't risk a good friend for sex. And yes it has happened to me, trust me the one night stand is the way to go.

I wouldn't ask my best friend because I'd have to face him again at some point... and that would just be awkward. Now perhaps I would ask the ex-boyfriend... but that is only cause I am on very good terms with my ex.

You can possibly ruin the relationship with your best friend. it might develop into something more and that can always lead to bad news.
A one night stand has too many risks.

no i would never do that, i have more respect for my self and for my best friend to use him for sex, i respect i friendship and sex is worth screwing it all up....literally.
