We had a great date. He calls me 3 days later and leaves a message. He then never calls me again but texted me twice. I ignored him because I heard he likes a challenge. He's never called me since. Should I call him ? It s been 2 weeks. Is he into me?

Yes you should call him and stop playing games.

Firstly the balls in your court, if you like him you should call him.

There is a theory that by playing hard to get it cements a bond between the guy and girl when they get together, trouble is often people play too hard to get and it backfires. Playing hard to get is one thing but it's got to be done with full communication. It sort of works for me when I know the girl really likes me and she wants to end up with me and she shows this 100% but makes me jump through a few hoops to make me work for it. Its important when the girl does this by giving him some sort of reassurance when he finds the process difficult so that he doesn't give up. This could be a reassuring or a sexy look or something similar.

This however does not include making a guy jealous, especially if I know its being done on purpose, this is a big turn off and all it does is has me question the girls fidelity and their ability to stay with me.

All of this requires communication. If there is no communication guy will think you are not interested. Therefore what you are doing is playing hard to get + no communication, my view is that he willl definatly think you are not interested.

One of the current issues for guys is that it doesn't take much to be labeled a stalker, it's in the news it's everywhere. Guys will most definately avoid this.

If he did call and text every day then he could be the obsessive, or very arrogant type and you probably wouldn't want those character traits in your guy. You are actually encouraging this type of behaviour.

You may have to fix this if you still like him, probably the best thing you can do is ring him up and tell him you have been an idiot, tell him you enjoyed the date and you have been playing hard to get because you like him and you want to create a bond with the guy you end up, but it has backfired.

If you go on another date you can still play hard to get but at least he will know the rules you are playing to and has a chance of winning the game.

+ you also have to be prepared for him turning the tables on you, it's quite possible. These sort of games can create some incredible chemistry but be wary it doesn't always work out, it's a high risk strategy, sometimes its better to go for the simple approach.

You're right, guys do like a challenge, and let's face it we like to play a little hard to get; however in this case he did call you and leave a message. You should have returned his call. Let him do the pursuing, but he has to know that you are interested before he pursues. It's been two weeks, you know he's probably thinking you aren't interested in going out with him again. I think you should call him right away and apologize for not calling him back sooner, make sure you tell him thank you for a wonderful time on your last date. Tell him that you were hoping he would call you, but you didn't want to wait any longer. Good luck....

No, if the guy really likes u. He will call u everyday and every hr. But this is only the first stage. at a later stage when u go out will him for abt 3 mth then u will know his guy is it into u. As normally ppl tend to get excited for the first 3 mth then slowly become bland. But not all ppl are like that. Pls do not call him back as he will think that u have been hooked on him and he will do things the way he likes.

What's with the games? Just call him already... he prob. didn't want to call you after having left that message cause it'd seem like too much, you know? He prob. didn't want to feel like he was stalking you/bugging you too much. The ball's in your court now so call him if you are still interested and just hope that he still is too.

did you ever respond to his message or text?!?!?! pretty sure if you didnt respond to 3 of his messages total... he would just say "that's it... its her turn to call"... its ok to be a challenge but being impossible is just plain mean.

I think that ship has sailed, sweetie. That's why you shouldn't play mind games when it comes to this. Go for what you want. Sometimes it works out, sometimes it doesn't. But you gotta go to the prom if you want to dance.

I think he doesnt treat this as challenging! you ignored him and so why would he call you anymore? and now if you call him again, it wil lbe so weird....so...............
Or you could text him saying that you were busy before.
