I thought my dad was making this up. But then I heard about it on the radio years later. Apparently if a woman does an underwater birth in a tank with whales in it (don't know what kind) then the whales will use sonar or something and the child will be like Einstein smart. I know this sounds stupid, but has anyone else heard of this? Is there a website with info?

How exactly do these women get access to the whale tank? Aren't the SeaWorld folks worried about the baby or mother drowning and suing them? Do they make Shamu wear a beeper to know when the woman will arrive so they can be ready for her? Wouldn't they need to study the kid for years to prove that he's really a genius and not just a mutant prodigy? I couldn't find any reference to this online and I'm pretty good at finding stuff.

I've heard some whacky things, but this one takes the cake. Think about that water...whale pee....cold water vs. warm water for normal water births...danger of whales. I think I'll pass on this one, give me a clean warm bath or a clean warm bed.
