Yes, it'll work in a tent. Just make sure your tent is big enough. And it would cool easier if the tent was insulated.

i'm questioning why you even hassle camping out. for sure you've a motorcar there or you'll not specify 70 lbs, it is probably what you consider something you may carry from the motorcar. Why do not you basically idle the motorcar all nighttime (which will truly offend the actual campers) and craft a 4" versatile clothing dryer duct from the motorcar aircon into the tent? Or convey a spare vehicle battery and run a small 12v fan off it? possibly employ a community youngster to shop bringing buckets of ice for your tent all nighttime to blow the fan over? Or placed on very skinny cotton clothing, shop them moist and sleep outdoors the position the breeze supplies evaporative cooling even as you sleep (no bag) on your air mattress. Or run a generator all nighttime on your air conditioner, duct the cool air into the tent. Your associates will hate you and call the SWAT crew. Or get one of those 12'x12' "demonstrate-surely" social gathering tents you may actually arise in and employ someone to fan you all nighttime and feed you cool grapes, like contained in the former video clips.

No a portable air condition will not work in a tent while camping because once you start using a air conditioner you are no longer camping.

It will. If:

You insure that cool part is facing toward the insides of the tent, while the warm part is directed out of the tent. You have to put it right by the door of the tent. If you put it inside the tent and close the tent, it will warm instead of cool the tent.

No, it will not work because the tent has no insullation. The air will bleed through the walls of the tent.

if you have appliances it doesnt count as camping. if you want to cool off strip naked and sleep out on the ground.

but if you really want a AC why not get one of those tents that can snap onto the back of a car?

Okay, I'm sure it depends on the tent.
But why would you want an air conditioner when you're camping?

As long as you had it set in right with the air blowing in the tent...but then I don`t think it would help you too much...but give it a try!!
