It is very sad - it is true. The Chinese just start 1 man - 1 wife about 60 years ago - including Hong Kong where is a British colony.
before that man can have 1 wife , x number of concubine (they all live under one roof, of course that man is rich )and y number of mistress
Now you can get a mistress in Mainland China ( not in Hong Kong ) for $US 500/month for their living expense Some of the old man in HK (has no work and get welfare from HK government) the woman may be in their 20's and the HK man is over 60
It is the culture. Chinese woman doesn't get any education, the marriage was arrange by the parents. They are housewives, there is no right until late 50's. Hong Kong is getting very
"westernized' and there is marriage law in 1964.
But in late 80's woman in Hong Kong is very independent and educated - work hard and finanical indenpent. Of course they have their expectation for man, boyfriend and husband. ( not in Mainland China)
That's why a lot of man in HK start fooling around in China - it is cheap, young woman and they won't talk to you about the children's gade is not good, credit card payment is late and house paymant is due.
But those mistress may has 3,4 or 5 master(man) and make you think you are the only one man in her life.
hahahahahhah---man believe it and think they only spend a little money and get love. those woman just prostitutes.
