so i've been hanging out with this guy ALOT and we've been great friends for years but lately we've been inseperable.... now i've fallen for him. well tomorrow i have to go to the doctor and get an epideral shot and he offered to be my ride home, so i said great! then tonight i told him i was scared to get the epideral and he said well tell the doctor that i'm your boyfriend so i can go back with you and make sure you're ok.... so guys-- would you say that to just any girl?

HECK no. This guy likes you. Im sure he will respond if you tell him you have developed deeper feelings. You must realize that if you two date, your friendship will NEVER be the same. As much as you can imagine it won't change, it will not ever be the same. I guarentee it. But life is too short not to try. Go for it! Good luck, I hope it works out for you.

if lately he has been wanting to spend more time with you, i would say thats a sign that he likes you. what he said bout being your boyfriend, he was just testing the water to see how you would react. chances are that he wants to make sure he knows how you feel before he makes a move on you.
