I don't get it. The man was an icon, and an inspiration, whose love of animals, even dangerous ones, gave so many of us a better understanding of the world and our place in it.

So here comes a Creationist to spit on Steve Irwin's grave...
"Sadly, Steve Irwin wasn’t a creationist...." moan, whine, spit.

What is wrong with this guy?

what the heck does it matter if he was a creationist? he was obviously a better man than whoever wrote that article. What kind of an honest christian would write something like that? his devotion to his family and doing what he loved will probably put him in a better place than that jerk.

Creationist or not, we, as Christians, have no right to speak ill of Steve. Judge not lest thou be judged! I agree with you, Steve Irwin was an awesome conservationist and has become a pop icon over the years. He has earned his place in our hearts and memories. Who else could my four year old son and 84 year old grandmother both enjoy watching, and recognize almost immediately? Good for you for calling that person out!

steve irwin was an irritating man at times.
he was also a great enviromentalist who will be missed.
he has done so much for the preservation of animals and kids that we all owe him a great debt.
that being said....
this artical did not seem to be slamming steve irwin but more of a call to christians to make sure they are on the right path. more of a promoting scheme of sorts.

This article is not so much a complaint as an exhortation to True Believers(tm) to "witness" to others on the off chance that grief may make them more willing to listen to stupid arguments ("we're all gonna die so better git right with gawd"). Disgusting.

Have the decency to leave Irwin alone and quit making him just another cheap pawn in your constant baiting.

I don't know. Adults got annoyed with his "antics" and I heard some radio host say he took "unneccesary" risk. It annoys me that the adults don't realize...umm. . . He really wasn't doing it for you... It was for the kids and guess what? They loved him. He was a great example of a family man and a man who had passion for what his job was. Who can say that really? Maybe the adults who complain are just jealous of someone who did what he loved to do.

Who said that? We are all devastated about the Croc Hunter buying the farm here at our house. We are concerned for his immortal soul but would never be disrespectful of the deceased.

I haven't heard any Creationists complain about him. That's ridiculous. He was a great guy loved by all. You made it up. Quit it.
