No,
1) the carbon dioxide(fizz) in colas and pepsi makes you dehydrated
2) the phosphoric acid in them impair the normal digestive processes by making the digestive juices alkaline...the stomach acid pH should be acidic for proper digestion of food.
3) the caffeine content in them causes sleep problems.

If the question is "is it healthy to drink colas and pepsi" absolutely no is the answer as they are not health drinks like a fruit punch or juice is healthy. Yes if its question about safety yes to a certain extent ...as cola companies keep repeating they have tested their products and again will hiit the market shortly. So if u think u like colas u can drink them for fun not being its healthy ...u can try Gatorade or Tang which is more sensible ones or fruit punched or drinks are alternatives.

Don't drink them, they are not healthy.Soft drinks have long been suspected of leading to lower calcium levels
and higher phosphate levels in the blood. When phosphate levels are high and
calcium levels are low, calcium is pulled out of the bones. The phosphate
content of soft drinks like Coca -Cola and Pepsi is very high, and they
contain virtually no calcium."

First of all, they contain a rather large amount of sugar and caffeine which leads to an overdose. Second they contain distilled water. Most drinks do and everyone thinks that because distilled water is clean it's good for you. Distilled water is HORRIBLE for you.
(If you took chemistry) Water is a polarized substance, it attracts minerals and nutrients and such. When you drink distilled water, it pulls out the nutrients needed in your body (that's why those on a diet with soda and other drinks with distilled water tend to be lacking vitamins, important electrolytes and such) because the minerals and nutrients are attracted to the water molecules. You're really just about peeing out all of the things you need.
Lay off the soda, go for fruit drinks or tea even.

who said u its healthy?!! its not at all healthy in any sense. Have u heard colas giving u nutrients ?! in-fact its v unhealthy to drink colas. It dissolves calcium in ur body and gives a number of ill-effects for ur body. So, avoid drinking it, and also advise ur near and dear ones.

Okay, I'm going to say this once. If you are looking to: lose weight, not gain weight, live healthy, feel better etc.. just drop sodas. They are not good for you. They will never be good for you. No matter what they say. They don't actually "quench" your thirst quite as much as water. They carry a laundry list of horrible ingredients, one of which is aspertame(yes I spelled it wrong) which is akin to embalming fluid. So for your health and everyone else's drop that stuff like the bad habit it is. By the way, I'm a personal trainer and this is legit and good advice ask my father, girlfriend and myself. ~Flip

Its pretty much the worst thing you can drink, at least in things that are sold as 'beverages'. I suppose bleach or drano is worse for you.
High in sugar, acid and caffeine. No nutrtional value at all.
Next worse for you is probably fruit/sport drinks, which have tons of sugar without the fiber of actual fruit.
You're better off drinking beer or wine. Seriously.
Water would be best.

No more healthy than eating cake and donuts. Also, the acid is bad for your teeth. I still drink it, but it's not healthy.
Caffeine has some moderate health benefits, but tea would be a better choice for that (unsweetened, unfortunately.)
