Looks can be alluring, other times it's good to be horny cavemen and cavewomen. I've gotten it on with my partners first thing in the morning, and sometimes the unkept, bestial nature of our sex adds to the mood.
Regarding physique, I've had some very fine physical specimens, and a few not so Olympian partners. What turned me on then was their personalities and enthusiasm! To expect your lovers to always resemble supermodels or star athletes is not only statistically unfeasible, but also shallow, IMO.

it helps if you are vain.. but if you really like each other it shouldn't make that much difference now should it.. beauty is only skin deep.. If you don't like what you are looking at you shouldn't have gotten that far to be thinking about sex. but a few drinks could help the problem. Everyone looks good to a drunk.
