I was given farm eggs and I am not really sure how long they will last in the fridge before they turn bad.

Fresh shell eggs can be kept refrigerated in their carton for at least 4 - 5 weeks beyond the pack date. Quality losses should be insignificant if the eggs are refrigerated as soon as possible after purchase from a refrigerated case. Hard cooked eggs
should be kept in the refrigerator for up to one week.
This is valid for farm or store-bought eggs, the reason is that the eggs must be cleaned, and by doing this the natural protective coating has been removed, and once this is done the egg must be consumed within a month or so to avoid spoilage

You'll probably use them all before then. The eggs from a farm that are fresh will last at least 2 months. The eggs you buy in the grocery store are usually 2-3 weeks old before you get them. I hope this helps.

Eggs, like bread, have a freshness period . As they age, the whites become thinner and the yolks become flatter. Generally speaking, eggs remain edible for several weeks after they are laid. But try to use all eggs within a week after purchase and make it a point to keep them refrigerated. Eggs lose quality much sooner when stored at room temperature.

Do not use any eggs after the date on the package,. Old-timers will tell you an egg is bad when you crack it and it smells funny.
Another method for determining if an egg has gone bad: "Put it in water -- with the shell on. If it floats at the top with part of the shell breaking the surface, it's bad

Bear in mind that eggs sit under a 90 degree chicken but for several days. Fresh farm eggs have a protective membrane that most grocery stores wash off. They are good for at least a couple months. My friend sells me his and they are delicious. I'll never buy those mutant grocery store eggs again

I have kept & used my eggs well over a month. AND while I was in Finland I learned that they don't refrigerate their eggs and no one is dead yet !! There stacks of eggs in cartons are simply in the middle of the isle.
