"Any discussion about the need for military action against Iran highlights the problem with the diplomatic process," the vice president for foreign and defense policy studies at the American Enterprise Institute, Danielle Pletka, said. "It has become clear that effective multilateral action is all but impossible. That leaves the United States in the position of choosing between doing nothing and military conflict with Iran."

It's me again. No, they will never give up. You would have to kill every last one of them, and as you do it, you would be inspiring others to step up into their place by making honorable martyrs out of them. I hope that those guys they have detained in Guantanamo Bay are going to be sentenced to solitary confinement for life, when convicted. Not because I oppose the death penalty, but because they are in this thing for martyrdom - death is not a deterrant, it's an encouragement. That's why they blow themselves up, that's why they piloted the airliners into the WTC because their salvation depends upon them being martyred in jihad. That's what their religion tells them. That's why this is a war we can't win. 1 out of every 5 people on the planet are muslim, and they are growing exponentially both in America and abroad. Granted, they are not all fundamentalist muslims, but if the fundamentalists get their way they all will be before it is over. Not only is there clear evidence that Iran is destabilizing Iraq, but it is equally clear that they are the sponsors of Hizballah. In your studies of end times prophecies, it is also notable to mention that Iran is in cahoots with Russia and China. Everyone thinks that since the cease fire between Israel and Lebanon has taken affect that everything is going to go back to "normal." Wrong. The winds of war haven't stopped blowing. The multi-national "peace keeping" force has finally been assembled in the buffer zone between Israel and Lebanon. Now what's going to happen? The shot heard around the world is what's going to happen. We have all the makings of a world-wide conflict in the making right now, and it's not by accident. "...When they shall say, peace and safety; then sudden destruction comes upon them." (I Thess 5:3)
Wow. Such doom and gloom, you say. Well, yeah if you're not looking forward to the Kingdom of Christ to overtake the earth. Which it will. But there are some things in the way that have to be moved first. Some things that need to be destroyed. It is an exciting time to live. The only true security that anyone has is in Jesus Christ. George Bush and Condi and Kofi can't keep you safe, but Jesus can save you.

They have to rebuld the temple on the western wall first. The whole thing doesn't work unless they do that.
If we are going to use biblical notions then why not use the biblical context.
