I would say tolerance is my hardest lesson learned. Your hardest lesson was due to the fact you love your family so much. Whatever pain was caused was because of how much they mattered, which you should look at as a good thing

in my case its that family wants your help all the time but when u need help they never want to do anything but cause u trouble. whoever said that when u have noone else u still have your family lied, i have enemies that treated me better than my family. so basically , my hardest lesson is that u have to stand on your own 2 feet because u can't depend on anyone to catch u if u fall.

Sungs Angel,
That is a toughie
and all too real.

The hardest lesson,
after having gone
through many pains
has been to learn
not to impose my
self and beliefs on
others.

Hope you can soothe
your pain somehow
until you find the answers
on how to deal and heal.

Be well, all ways, always

One of the hardest lessons I've ever learned is that not every body who's nice to you is your friend. A person who will gossip to you will also gossip about you.

Mine is essentially the same as yours.

It's that just about everyone I am related to and grew up with would allow my uncle to molest their children and then help him cover up the evidence so that he could do it to other family members.

Reality isn't pretty, but it has to be faced eventually. I hope your relatives are not as sadistic as mine.

Of late, that everything matters and what we believe is, what is. A very hard lesson, I had to unlearn much to accept it.
