What if he told you he was at work but he sounded like he had been drinking? what if you asked him if he was drinking and he said " No' I'm just outside in the cold and waiting on someone. Thirty minutes later you pull up at the bar beside his apartment and you see his truck. You go inside the bar and there he is ordering another drink. He goes to sit beside a girl at the bar.

No I have never stopped him from drinking. I walked up and said "I have seen enough bye". Then left. He followed me out; but needless to say we did have a few words that night.

I'll admit it was wrong to check up on him but I had to know why he felt the need to lie to me. He told me later his cousin wanted him to come by the bar and that he wasn't with the girl. I told him the biggest issue wasn't the girl. It was why he lied to me.

relationship does take trust and you need to trust your feelings too. if he lied to you once he may have been lying alot to you better to found out now than if you were to marry

Wellllll, I would ask myself why he's lying about it? If he feels the need to lie to you about it, there's a reason. The little lies tell the big story. I wouldn't trust him. Why is he in a bar sitting next to a girl instead of with you?

that all depends on if he was having a good time or not. if he was, then I'd want some answers. if he was there bummed out or something. i would just think he needed time for himself and probably give him his space with a definite heat to heart talk later.

Maybe he wound up at the bar, but went to his original location. Use a me statement. "When you tell me that you are somewhere that you aren't it makes me feel _______" Don't accuse or jump to conclusions. People hate that.

That can't be too bad can it be. Your probably don't like him drinking, and he though rather than go through all that hasse, it would be easier just to do it.!
