It means you should stop! Worry is totally useless. You need to be confident with who you are and look at life as an adventure. You have the right to be here as much as anyone else and you shouldn't feel you have to BE like anyone else. Once you do that you'll be very happy with who you are and the only stuff you'll be worrying about will be trivial and it won't be nearly as crippling and consuming as it is to worry about stuff that you can't do anything about anyway.

You can find a million things to worry about, those you love, where you're going in life etc. etc....none of it is within your control...just live for TODAY...that's what counts...plan for tomorrow but live for today and I know that's hard but really that is all you've got to work with.

It really depends on what you're worrying about. If it's something specific, you could have a "specific phobia," for instance in people who are specifically scared of spiders or heights, etc. If you worry about having Panic Attacks, you could have an anxiety disorder, and you might want to see your primary care physician about treatment. Along the same lines, if you worry about checking things a lot, or washing your hands...or if you just seem to worry incessantly about normal life events, you may have other types of anxiety disorders.

Anxiety disorders are commonly undiagnosed, and underdiagnosed, simply because physicians and care providers aren't well trained to screen for them. If I worried a lot, I'd definitely explore what could be going on with a liscenced mental health professional.

Hope this helps, and good luck!!

They have medications for this the all time favorite seems to be Xanax. If you seem to worry a lot you are expressing the classic symptoms, it is called Panic Attacks or Anxiety. If you worry about everything it could be caused by paranoia and there are other medications for this.

You may have anxiety for many reasons. I am told that it just means you're a good mom. I guess it really depends on the types of things you worry about.
