do you mean laguna de bay in philippines?
tagged as bay but in fact, it's a lake. fresh water. laguna lake.
the last time i visited a friend there, i found the water quite muddy. brown in color like flood. of course, fresh water organisms and fishes are there. you may try to search on the web.

you have to get a sample of the water there to have the correct count of the organisms, etc. present. As for the status of the bay i am sorry to inform you that it is not safe to drink or bathe in it as it is being fed b several tributary rivers which has residents in the banks without proper sanitary tanks and that their is no sewage treatment plants in the immediate vicinity to process the water being dump into the lake.
