As someone who has done a lot of work with artificial intelligence programs, I can definitely say that a lot of people here drastically underestimate their abilities. Nothing mentioned here is beyond their capabilities.
About the question, it is theoretically possible that everything we experience is a virtual reality and nothing has any real repercussions that would affect anyone else. However, we don't know that to be the case, so we must assume that it is not.
Let's just say for example that there is a 99.9% chance that we are living in a virtual reality and a 0.1% chance that it is a physical world with lasting repercussions for our actions. The possible cost or reward for any action is essentially zero if this is a virtual reality since everything is just an illusion anyway. But the cost and reward for different actions do change if this is a physical world. Therefore, the 0.1% chance still dictates the correct actions to take and the other 99.9% chance that this is a virtual reality can be safely ignored.

Just because I believe I'm human.. it doesn't mean I'm not intelligent. What's Virtual?
I'm not absolutely certain there is a God and also I'm not absolutely certain there isn't a God.
All I know there is an Intelligence which is Thought, Wind, Air, Water and matter whatever we call the intelligence it doesn't matter does it? I do know some Atheists that say they don't believe in God yet they believe in
a Mother Nature! Mother Nature is an intelligence! Maybe we humans are not originals maybe we are clones from the real humans who knows! How about Aliens.. Maybe God is an Alien! Who knows?

OK, I give up, what is the real question here? I am a living and breathing human being.I possess all the flaws that come with being human. For me, believing in God is natural and makes sense. I cannot explain it. I cannot prove that He exists. I think that for some people it is natural to question the existence of a supreme being. Me, I am not that analytical. Please do not assume that I am unintelligent because I believe in God. I happen to believe that the bible was written by men. All that the bible proves to me is that the men of that time were male chauvinist homophobes. I have written all this before and I feel like a broken record. I also believe that I will see you on the other side with me, when we die. I cannot prove it but it is what I believe. In my opinion, sin and hell are man made terms, not God made. You have every right to your beliefs. Please don't call me stupid for having mine.

NO, I'm a pitiful piece of crap, who is hated viciously and is not wanted for even the touch of a hand . Twice I have been refused, and embarassed before God and I didn't deserve it. How anyone can hate so much is beyond my realm of life, love, joy, peace and fidelity to GOD. I am so torn apart by the viciousness of this that I can barely exsist, as I virtually and truly love even after all of this,,,,,,,how pitiful, isn't it.....want some tears, they're free........

Virtual intelligence lacks the amazing creativity, the freedom, the capacity for passion, love, thought, and stupidity, and most of all the will of a human being.
Personally, I exalt in being human. Can't think of a better thing to be.

All the theists and atheists are noble human beings at different levels of knowledge. Those in high levels understand, love and respect others and try to help others. Those in low levels are still jealous, hateful and unhappy. The solution is that we should try to enhance our level of knowledge, if we see that we are unhappy. Otherwise, nobody can put knowledge into our souls to make the change.

Because I am not an alien but real human in a body that a spirit process and you do also. I never could understand why why why people undeserving want to question the fate of God, Yet afraid to tackle it for themselves. Why listen to all men have to say and lead you astray. The bible says what is man that you are mindful of him. One is ignorant when they follow anything other thanthe lord. It is very intelligence when one is humanistic and follow the commandents of our lord and savior.

Because we have free will. Also we have the ability to love, be sad, hate, have compassion, etc. No virtual intelligence possess these amazing things, Only humans.
