I don't know that schools have been around for thousands of years. And why is that people send them to school when they could learn just as much or more at home......

I sent my kids to school because they were a little behind in speech and understanding. But now that they are all caught up I plan on homeschooling next year. Schools are good as far as having extra programs like speech therapy etc. but homeschooling is the best because they get one on one attention and can proceed at their own pace.

I'm not sure what your question is but most people send their kids to school because they can't stand having them around 24/7 and they want their kids to get all the skills they can, even ones the parents have no particular talent for.

learning has been around since people have been around, but public schools have only been around a couple hundred years.
So, what's the rest of your question?
