Read First Corinthians especially chapters 12, 13 and 14 and get Baptized in the holy Spirit. You will know Jesus better than ever before, when His Spirit infills you. The Holy Spirit brings you more power in your prayer life and more ability to grow and change as a person.

He is the Comforter and the Balm of Gilead. I must also agree with those who say Psalms. especially 34, 25, 91, 119(hang in there it's a long one), and the Great 145!

I like John but the thing that helps me when I am tempted with thoughts like this is the fact that 10 of His Disciples died for the gospel that Jesus gave them.John was exiled to the island of Patmos.Paul was beheaded at Rome for the Gospel of Jesus. And even Judas who betrayed Jesus hung himself after realizing what he had done. These all knew Jesus personally . Men don't die for their beliefs unless they are certain of the truth at least not like these men died.May God grant you the grace you need to have the victory.Amen
