I'm going to try and answer this as a religion question and not a political one. It just seems that some people are basing their answers on their political views entirely.
I don't believe anyone can know whether someone else is really a man or woman of God. Unless we can peer into the soul and know the thoughts of another human being I would rather leave the final say to God.
I'm just glad many of the people who've answered this question aren't God because they would be sending all right wing, republican, Christians to Hell and enjoying the process of doing so.
I can disagree with Mr. Bush politically and still leave his relationship with the almighty between the two of them.

George W. Bush the man or George W. Bush the politician?

Correct!

George W Bush is a man of god, and thats the god Zeus, the Sun God who is none other than the Devil himself in disguise.

George is a man of the Cross and look at all the evil the cross represents. You can see it on bottles of poison and on Pirates' flags, like the Union Jack.

And George admires Putin for the Cross he carries around in his pocket.

Wanna bet George has a cross in his pocket too?

Well, at least he has one to bear with all the innocent women and children his bombs have slaughtered.

It is said the Satan admires men who are more evil than he can ever hope to be, and Satan must be a worshipper of George and his team.

Every man is a man of God. It is only each individual opinion of him that they answer this question.
God loves George W Bush just as much as He loves you.
Its'a good thing that I don't have to depend on the opinions of this forum to know whether or not God loves me. He loves each creation---He is the Creator.
And God's purpose for GWB is between the two of them.
And regardless of your political beliefs, GOD DON'T MAKE JUNK! Regardless of the name calling and disrespect.

I noticed that you used caps in the Bush name but showed no reverence to God by using a small "g". What's up with that?

You must not be a Christian because doing this you put man before God. That's a big mistake.

To answer you I'll just say Yes he is as we are men and women of God. God is who created us and its just like that.

As I write this, my prayer goes out that someday God will become the first of everything in your life.

That's all I have to say.><>

He's simply a man. He's the president of the United States of America and deserves the RESPECT of the office.

Bash him if you will, but all you so called "God fearing Christians" are so fast to judge others. Doesn't your wonderful bible say "Judge not lest ye be judged?"

Christians are the most judgmental people on here! Practice what you preach to others and then, just maybe I'll have enough proof to believe that your God is worth looking into. Otherwise, to each his own!

Isn't this between him and God?

On the other hand, Jesus did teach "By their fruits ye shall know them."

I just heard on the radio today that Karl Rove is agnostic, yet he seized upon the strategy of using Christians to spread the right wing movement of neo-conservatism. In other words, they got preachers and other church members to tell people how to vote.

I also heard in an interview that Bush doesn't often go to the church services of his chosen denomination. I think he and his family may prefer to attend chapel privately.

I think if he were truly a Christian, he'd be feeling pretty sick if his conscience woke up.

How do you think many of the so-called Christians really feel deep down inside, the ones that voted for him.?

Yes, I think he is truly a religious man, not a nut either. I like to hear Bush mention God, its a good thing. The leftists try and paint him as a bible thumping Christian, but thats not true.
I do remember Bill Clinton walking around like a 2 bit minister carrying a bible around during Monicagate, trying to fool everybody. The media didn't mention that did they?

He is a politician, therefore he has no soul.
Without a soul, you can't be close to god.
So, George W. Bush is not a man of God.
