If all it takes for a guy to make it with a girl is to notice things like when they get their hair done wear a new outfit or new scent or appreciate the hard work it took for her to prepare a nice meal for him. Then why is it that most guys either won't or find it so hard to do these things yet never seem to have any trouble noticing one particular thing about girls (you know what I mean). But on the other hand guys expect girls to just immediately notice them like the guys on those tag body spray commercials and appreciate them and do certain other things for them with nothing in return. Now no offense and correct me if I'm wrong but I always thought a relationship was supposed to be about give and take not take and take.

LOL I was reading all the answers and the guys are confused and so dumb they have no idea what you're talking about and the girls are giving intelligent replies..so typical. I know what you mean guys expect too much out of us without appreciating it or giving back. I guess that's why I'm single...sigh..

I think it completely depends on the person... you can't stereotype an entire gender based on a few men. And on the other hand, men are just wired differently than women... we expect all of the "lovey dovey notice everything about me to show me that you care" attention and they think "Of course I love you what should the little crap matter when you have my entire heart and soul" I've met some men who were more involved in themself and wanted you to notice everything about them, but some people are just selfish like that. I've also known some men that are sweet as can be and will give you the shift off their back. A relationship should be 100/100 and give and take... but just because of one bad apple you can't throw out the entire orchard.

A man is only a loser or pig if he lets himself be taken advantage (used) by a woman. If you are only dating girls (not women) then you will continuously run into selfish, bratty, immature nightmares who only want to take, take, take. Sounds like you need to find yoself someone who really truly wants to give - then you will know the difference. A relationship should be give/give. Not even give/take. If we focus on what is important we will spend most of the time thinking "what can i do right now that will make my man/my woman happy". I hope you find it one day.

dont YOU think there's more to girls than cooking meals and getting their hair done? i dont agree with you on this one. It takes much more for a relationship to work than the guy noticing the new perfume his woman's wearing.

I know...it's sad. I wouldn't always blame it all on men, but there is a culture within the male gender that does nothing to help this type of behavior.

I totally agree with you!! Especially the part where you say they're jerks!!! I never really talk to guys at all, but I hear they're very annoying and selfish. Some guys aren't, but the majority are.
