Thats a fine age, seems young when you at that age, but
my wife and I have been married 22 years.
I am now 47 and she is 40.... and all our friends have about the same age spread.
I wouldn't place so much emphasis on age, its maturity that counts in a relationship

While 5 years isn't much, in the US it's illegal. The age of consent is different in other countries, so check your laws if you live elsewhere.

If it's legal where you live, then you are probably a good match.
If it's not legal (like in the US) make sure you aren't doing anything sexual until she turns 18. Then have fun.

You are both young enough to have fun and be a little wild. Yet you are both old enough to be smart and responsible about what you choose to do. I don't think it's far apart at all, and I think that if there is no danger of criminal action, then they should enjoy each other.

I think that at age 17, a 22 year old is too old for her. No matter if he says he respects her wishes, he may cheat on her or have other relationships on the side.

When I was 17 I dated a 21 year old guy. It was nice because when he was done with classes he would come pick me up and since he was older he treated me to more things. Except it's true, they can do things that you can't do. That's where we had problems. He would want to go to clubs and bars with his friends. I didn't really care if he went or not but he wouldn't go because I wouldn't be there. Then I would feel bad because I was holding him back. Then he would feel bad for making me feel bad and yada yada. So yeah, 22 may be a bit old. Try going for someone 18-19.

Wait for one more year than everything is good as the age difference of 5 years is wonderful for a relationship.

some men available rather are just to get on your pants.... yet I met my sweetheart a month in the previous turning 18, and he became some months from 22 and we've been mutually for 2 years and extremely lots in love. Your guy ought to rather be a good dude, purely you will possibly actually comprehend the respond... if youre rather thinking it because of the fact of issues he does, then in all probability no longer likely to be best for you. yet once you're merely thinking because of the fact it ought to look too good to be real then, howdy, perchance that's tru tho :) it became for me so merely shop your head up, stay clever and good success!!

too far.
You are in high school I would assume
and he is able to go drink and go to strip bars
He is prob using you for a piece of tail
Does he take you to meet his ma and pa or does he take you straight to bed? even if you think its all cool , don't EVER let people use you . Get out before you get your first STD if that is the case.

Not really. I'm his age, and my bf is your age, and we get along fine, have many things in common, and he can do anything I can, like get into clubs cause he looks way older than 17.
