ILLEGAL ALIENS pose the biggest immediate THREAT to the United States.... to our society, our standard of living, our culture.... re: our way of life... they are stealing from all legal Americans, illegal aliens are the largest criminal element in the USA.... and Congress aids and abets this crime wave... the President also aids and abets the criminal enterprise....

This is where we live and raise our families.... we cannot leave it.... Illegal aliens MUST LEAVE, be DEPORTED

The Mid East comes in second.... we can always leave it.... after we scorch the hell out of the Muslim terrorists. Or before, but scorched they must be... They are but a pimple on the world's azz.... they need to be erradicated before they become a boil that needs lancing with a MAJOR RESPONSE conducted with overwhelming force..... instead of the under manned response presently underway.

It's the exact same issue when you have terrorists being smuggled into the country right along with the other illegal aliens. To combat terrorism (it's 'terrorism' NOT 'terror' since anyone can experience terror from a variety of causes at any given time without some foreigner being the cause of it) we have to shut the borders down to any incoming traffic that is not known to us. I said BORDERS with an 'S' since they can come in via Canada as well.

I agree with Ed. They are both big problems. Our government should be able to get control over the illegal immigrant issue simply by enforcing our laws and deporting on an ongoing basis, regularly. We should close our borders. Closing our borders would also make it more difficult for terrorists to enter the USA by posing as a Mexican. The presidential oath says he swears to protect the AMERICAN citizens from those who intend to inflict harm on us. He is not doing a very good job of it. Illegal immigrants harm every American citizen. We are victims of "taxation without representation". We should refuse to pay our federal taxes for a couple of months and see how that will affect Washington. (you can always put it in savings, where it will draw interest, and have it there to pay your taxes before Apr. 15th next year) If enough TAX PAYING American citizens would do it, you better believe they'd sit up and take notice THEN!

Thx, Rick.

My number 1 voting issue is illegals. The war only affects my pocketbook, illegals can be terrorist and blow things up in my home town. I am strickly voting this year on how tough they are on illegal immigrants. None of this secure the borders crap, I want to get rid of the dangling carrot, like no free health care, no free tuition, no free anything! I will vote perry out of texas in less than a month with our new gov Carole Strayhorn.

Why does one have to be more important than another ?
They both are big problems that need to be resolved!
But with the numb skull in Washington that has his own agenda and could care less what the public thinks, neither one is going to get resolved.

Why do we have to decide which is bigger? Shouldn't we address both? Both are clearly big enough to be worth addressing.
