The basic races are called Mongoloid, Caucasoid and *******. They are from Asia, Europe and Africa respectively. My Chinese lover would disagree with your statement that "Chinese and Japanese aren't different". Japan started several wars with China and committed atrocities, so one can hardly blame her...but I know what you mean. Chinese, Japanese, Koreans, Vietnamese, Cambodians, Native Americans, etc. belong to the Mongoloid race.

"Race" is a discredited scientific concept among anthropologists. You will no longer find serious scientists talking about "race". The scientific concept of race was abandoned about 20 years ago. The reason it was abandoned was not because of political correctness, but because it became quite clear that it was impossible to define the "races" as differing in any fundamental ways. Every single measurement of race had so many counterexamples and exceptions that it could easily be shown to be meaningless. So, SCIENTISTS no longer talk about race.

I'm pretty sure on this. As far as humans go there is only one race. The human race. Are you seperating people by continent? Or color of their skin? That would be kind of silly and simplistic.
