They were either in hibernation, which I believe was the case, since the season must have be early spring when the dove found the olive branch. The leaves must have been new growth and up into the top of an olive tree that was above the water. Also the ark did land on a mountain. So it must have been spring when the bears came out of hibernation. The penguins adapt to the climates. There probably would not be a problem, unless there were extreme temperatures. In the spring time, the nights are quite cool still. Even in midday, the breeze is cool near the water. Neither species requires extremes of cold to survive.

is it possible that when god flooded the "world" that it was a massive flood of the region and not an actual total land submersion.

remember at the time the world was very small, the end of the world was the forst body of water that could not be sailed acrost in a few short days or the nearest desert that could not be crossed.

god could have flooded a large area of the middle east and put noah out into the pacific , then after 4o days and nights dropped him back in similar terrain.

if the entire world was flooded less than 2000 years ago why is there no talk of it among the Native Americans. they certainly did not travel from europe after the flood.

polar bears and penguins could have easily survived on ice floats.
as well as seals and walrus and many other cold weather critters.

My theroys.
God made evolution so in the future polar bears would exist. This is just a little theroy.
Or God made special cold rooms for those creatures if they existed back then.
Or Noah went back to the future and used the technology for frigdes so that's why no one is allowed to ever find the ark. It screw up the history if earth if the technology was found.
I'm sure you're find out when you die write that question down so when you do die u can ask him.

The flood could not have been the whole world, for an ordinary ship. Perhaps it was a spaceship with all the DNA codes of the animals.

Did he put any kangeroos, walabies and other marsupials in the Ark and then drop them off back in Australia afterwards.
I find it hard to believe the thing about the rainbow too. It must be to do with terraforming.

Yeah, it was a spaceship.

It talks about going off to find a new heaven and a new earth in the bible, and that the earth is swallowed by the sun. And powers that be in space (extra-terrestials? , other planets with humans on them?)

They swam in arctic waters till the thing subsided. Really do you take this nonsense literally. A better question is how big was the ark itself when you consider the number of known species on the planet.
To drown the whole planet, people and beasts for the sins of the few is not a very intelligent thing to do. You would expect an omnipotent God to have better skills than severe punishments for everything. Gos seems to create faults then punishes us severely for his own mistakes.

GOD knows all, Is all, provides and takes away from all, loves all. He certainly could give Noah the things that were needed for this to occur. Furthermore, who ever said a polar bear or penguin couldn't live in warm weather. Because they can.........

God directed Noah to collect one of each animal both male and female so we know they where on the ark. These animals survive in San Diego so why not on a boat in a storm. Besides, if they picked them up at the pole maybe they brought some ice along.

I dont know but I know it was 95 degrees when I saw the polar bears and penguins at the zoo... guess they dont need the cold climate for survival.

of course, they left it out of the bible but god gave Noah the technology for climate control in all the cages, also he made it rain meat and grain for them to eat.
(why do people who believe this story never wonder where the food came from to feed all these animals? they were supposed to be afloat for over a year, that's a hell of a lot of food and without the ability to freeze things it would have all gone bad even if there was room for it!!!)
