knowledge of anatomy will help a vocalist with knowing what parts of the body need to move to make certain sounds- like controlling the diaphragm and lungs. other careers would be like coroner or massage therapist.

For a classical singer, you should know how the sound is produced, which involves all sorts of muscles, both voluntary and involuntary, the diaphragm, lungs, larynx, vocal cords, sinuses, etc.
