Truly assertive behavior cannot be misinterpreted as it is based on fact, feelins and statements of actual behaviors that can be discussed. Now, agressive or wussy behavior and communication can easily be misinterpreted. Assertive behavior is very clear and it appears that the person has control of their emotions and has self confidence. That may be and illusion at first but becomes reality very quickly as true assertive behavior and communication is very solidly based in truth.Although polititians have been known to use the method but use lies in the presentation.

Aggressive game play on the ball field can look really harsh at times--but to your teammates its a good thing....just depends on how assertive or how its handled!
