Since I started taking Lipitor my blood sugar level has came way down is that normal?

it can and this is why. your neutral fat called triglycerides are mainly derived from carbohydrates. in order for carbs to evolve into trigly they first turn into complex sugars. actually having high triglycerides and a normal cholesterol can be a precursor to diabetes mellitus. lipitor does not directly target trigly but more the total cholesterol. it does however slightly lower trigly. a better med for targeting trigly is lopid (gemfibrozil).
