No one is ever really gone as long as there's someone to remember them. Words of comfort. I'm not sure what would be good for a tattoo but I'm thinking. What about a (red)broken heart with (black)tears streaming down...put his name inside where it's broken. Above & below put something like "Forever in my heart."

This won't work for a tattoo, but I think it is a beautiful poem about losing someone:
