I don't think you're crazy! I think you're excited about motherhood and you want to go ahead and have another child while you're used to the new pattern of their lifestyle! You can get pregnant as soon as you get off the pill. It just depends on your body! I've been told that it's easier to get pregnant once you've been pregnant before! I wish you the best of luck!!! Congratulations on your little one!

Wanting to get pregnant 10 months after pregnancy doesn't make you crazy in and of itself. I know its not ideal for the woman's body to get pregnant that quick, but it has been done millions of times before. For instance, I plan on getting pregnant 9 months after this child is born for sheer family desires/scheduling conflicts. I'm balancing school and work, and I only have so long until I start my major for college, which will require me to attend full time year round for 18 months. I can't get pregnant during that time b/c of this, and so I want to get all of my pregnancies done (and my husband wants to get snipped) when I'm still attending half time doing generals (which I can schedule according to my needs).

Maybe it isn't the best thing in the world, but if you take your prenatals, take good care of yourself, you can pull it off just fine.

For the second question, you can ovulate (and therefore get pregnant) immediately after you stop taking the pill, but it takes most women several cycles to get back to a "normal" cycle where they ovulate at a predictable time, so it would be hard to tell if you were pregnant or not.

I had one off cycle, one normal cycle and then I got pregnant the 2nd normal cycle.

Good luck!

Okay first off wait at least until your daughter is a year, because your body needs the time to rest. second it can Take anywhere between a month and 6 to get preggo after you come off the pill. and you are not crazy to want another child, as long so you have the Financial ability to take care it it. and as long as your relationship is stable.

2 of my sisters got pregnant while ON the pill. Good Luck. I heard 3 mos. but if you've been on the pill 7 yrs. or more, it's harder to get pregnant. If you are on the pill now, I doubt you will get pregnant, unless you are a freak like my sisters!

i stopped using the pill for 2 weeks then i found out i was pregnant. Your not crazy, children are truly beautiful and id love to have another 10, if they didnt drive me crazy at times hehe, unless your partner cant manage the money with another child, then maybe it would be best to wait.

Depends on lots of things, but the thing you need to understand is that your hormone levels have not returned to normal yet.

This is not a good time to make life changing choices. You have a 10 month old challenge, first meet that.

Do not let hormones dominate action.

Have your tubes tied, you have one illegitimate child. So don't go for another. What is holding up the marriage to your FIANCE? Is your daughter his daughter? If so get married and if by chance you are on welfare, chuck it and live a responsible life. In this day and age one child is enough. Unless of course you are very wealthy. Which means if you can't afford them don't have them . HAVE YOUR TUBES TIED.
