The very name being "Inland Empire" should give you a major clue, honey--"inland", as in into the land, away from a body of water. This isn't abnormal temperature. I'm in the High Desert (over the Cajon Pass) and love it. It's hot, dry weather, not all smogged and polluted. But you gotta get smart and realize that it's too intense to think you're going to sunbathe or frolic in the pool during the day. That's just asking to suffer. I get up when the sun rises (because it's so bright and intense that it forces me to) and try to get errands done early, then chill out in my air-cooled place until sometimes 5 or 6pm, then go out to visit friends or shop, etc. You didn't mention WHERE you at in the IE, but I doubt you're in the Mojave Desert like me, so quityourbitchin.

I live in Venice Beach, its much cooler than the IE. It's been in the high 80's to about 100 out there lately. Its always hot out there in the summer.

What a WUSS. It's a frigid 102F here in Phoenix today - try coming back when it's over 120F. That separates the snowbirds from the lizards (like me - ah sun, shine on, you crazy diamond).
