Not at all. It is the only place you CAN fart without offending anyone because it is the place where you get rid of bodily waste be it liquid, semi-solid or gaseous. No one has the right to chastise you for doing it. If you feel embarrassed about others in the restroom hearing it, try flushing simultaneously while you are farting, same with peeing, and pooing, although it is not of much help.

sometimes you can't help it... I get the jelly farts... it's not quite a fart, but it's not quite a poop... a lot more runny than just your run-of-the-mill shart... so you can't help it...
plus it's great to do at work... that way people can tell you're in the bathroom and not turn off the lights on you (makes you wonder if it's that hard for a blind person to wipe and tell)

You seem to have an obsession for toilets. That's all you have posted questions about since you joined this group.
If you are at home and nobody objects to it, let it blow!
If you are in a public restroom, please respect other folks who might be using the facility by letting one rip but not quite as forcefully. Also try to suppress the giggle that always comes with the explosion.

of course not... it's a toilet! i used to be afraid i'd pee too loudly when there were other people in there, but then i came upon a shocking revelation: "i'm in a restroom! that's what everyone comes in here for! i'm here to pee!"
